How does alt text work?

Alt text provides descriptions for images, making your posts accessible to people using screen readers.

Alt text support is a description available for images. You can describe what the image is about in detail so that people with disabilities can understand it through screen readers. This description will then be attached to the post across all platforms.

How to Use Alt Text

When you add an image to your post in Statuz, you'll have the option to add alt text. Simply describe what's in the image in a clear and concise way.

Default Behavior

If no custom alt text is provided, a default "Image" description is used.
