Draft vs Queued Status
Control automatic publishing with draft and queued status options
Draft status saves posts on calendar without auto-publishing. Queued status enables automatic background publishing. Toggle between states to control which scheduled posts publish automatically and which need manual action.
How to Use
- 1Open scheduler with post ready
- 2Show "Save as draft" checkbox
- 3Display explanation: "Drafts won't auto-publish"
- 4Check "Save as draft"
- 5Schedule the post
- 6Show post appearing on calendar in amber/yellow (draft color)
- 7Demonstrate scheduled time passing without publish
- 8Edit the draft post
- 9Uncheck "Save as draft" - converting to queued
- 10Show post color changing to blue (queued)
- 11Display "Will publish automatically" message
- 12Show background publishing picking up queued post
- 13Show post publishing automatically at scheduled time
